Solutions for
Textile moistening

Why is pre-moistening and re-moistening important in textile production?

Drying processes are unavoidable in the production of textiles. Material that is too dry affects the quality - e.g. in shrinking, compacting, calendering, stentering.
Important for high quality is, that finall fabric has the same moisture than the natural fiber has from its nature.
Knitwear is normally sold by weight and if the fabric moisture is below natural fiber moisture, the quality is loer and also gsm.
Stable processes, also in further processing, are only possible through targeted moistening and restoration of the natural water balance.
