Release agent application in flexo printing

Flexo printing is characterized by an enormous variability of substrates and printing speeds and the accompanying drying performance. Under unfavorable conditions, sticking and adhesion can occur in the printed rolls. The printed image is damaged by partial adhesion.

Sometimes distance is just needed.

The non-contact application of an ultra-fine powder coating separates the substrate and ink surfaces. This prevents the inks from sticking together. The application quantity is in the range of a few milligrams per m².

With the powder application systems WEKO-AP and the capped system WEKO-ESC, very small quantities of powder particles are applied to the printed surface.
