The WEKO-BASIC is the compact entry-level model for the application of water or easy-to-handle media and offers good basic comfort.
It consists of the components supply unit and electrical cabinet with integrated operating unit for supply and control of one or more WEKO-SIGMA rotor carriers. All components are very easy to handle during operation and maintenance and have a high durability.
The BASIC supply in compact design is used to control and supply WEKO-SIGMA rotor carriers with suitable and tested fluids. It represents a solid solution for the entry into precision spraying technology.
It consists of the following basic components and functions:
Supply unit with fluid tank and hydraulic unit.
- level control
- Fill level monitoring
- Automatic refill function via solenoid valve
- Automatic speed adjustment
- Flow and return filtration
- Frequency controlled submersible shaft pump
Electrical control cabinet with integrated SIEMENS PLC control:
The SIEMENS Color-Touchpanel allows the operator a quick overview of the most important production functions. The set-up of the machine consists mainly of the quantity input in the display and the start button. The rest is done by the WEKO system.
The quantity is entered in g/m² or, if moisture control is connected (optional), in % of the g/m² fabric weight. Condition for the accuracy is the use of water or always similar liquids which are similar to water in viscosity and surface tension. Exact parameterization of the system by calibrating the rotor feed quantities is necessary during installation and should be repeated from time to time for cross-checking.
