Printing results can be further improved by targeted dampening application before the printing unit and often even ink consumption can be slightly minimized.
The products obtain a higher color strength and at the same time become more voluminous than in conventional processes.

WEKO fluid application systems (WFA) for moistening of pulp webs consist of the fluid supply WEKO-BASIC or WEKO-FLOW - each with WEKO-SIGMA rotor carrier for exact, finely metered water application. In addition to increased ply adhesion, water also binds the cellulose fibers and reduces machine and surrounding contamination. The moistened web exhibits improved ink absorption behavior and disturbances due to static charging are avoided.

The encapsulated WEKO-ProTec application unit with integrated suction ensures a clean machine environment and at the same time is protected from contamination by its closed form.

WEKO-C trend is a complete turnkey solution that combines all components (electrics, hydraulics and tank) in a closed cabinet. It can therefore be easily integrated into existing plants.
